Daytona State College will close on Monday, February 16 in observance of George Washington’s birthday as an official state holiday. The recognition coincides with Florida’s statewide celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary. The College will reopen on Tuesday, February 17, at 8 a.m.

Daytona State College is offering CNC Machining programs at its Advanced Technology College, Deltona and New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater Campuses.

DSC’s five-semester Advanced Machining Technologies program covers lathe and mill operations, proper care and use of measuring tools, CNC programming and operations, CAD/CAM programming, electrical discharge machine operation, multi-axis machining and manufacturing skills related to industry standards.
