On Campus
Your Daytona State education goes beyond the classroom
Being serious about your future should also mean being serious about having fun along the way.
At the center of student life you’ll discover the L. Gale Lemerand Student Center. The state-of-the-art building was designed to be a welcoming and exciting place, and has quickly become the heart of the Daytona Beach Campus.
One of the most popular places is Mori’s Café, where you can grab a muffin and beverage before heading to class, or stop by the Dining Hall for fresh and delicious meals, sandwiches, pizza, soup, salad and more.
Looking for a place to study? Private and group study rooms are available on every floor, and you can even reserve a conference room. Other study and support areas include the Library, Writing Center, computer lab and the Academic Support Center. Specialists in Career Services are ready to help you find the perfect match with employers looking to hire DSC students and alumni.
After all that studying, take a break, relax and have some fun! The second floor is where you and your friends can play foosball, ping pong and video games, or just hang out. Research shows that students who engage in a dynamic college experience tend to be more successful, so take advantage of everything we have to offer in your student center.
Welcome to the Daytona State of Mind!
