All Daytona State College campuses will close at 5 p.m. today, December 19 for Winter Break. The College will reopen at 8 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2025. During the break, you can still apply to DSC for the upcoming Spring semester, and current students can register for classes in the student portal.

We offer a variety of programs to help you and your family stay safe and enjoy the water. Our Learn-To-Swim program, certified by the American Red Cross, caters to all ages and skill levels, from infants to adults. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to perfect your strokes, our professional instructors are here to guide you.

In addition to swim lessons, we provide Aqua Aerobics classes for a refreshing and safe workout, suitable for all fitness levels. Interested in becoming a lifeguard or a swim instructor? We offer Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Courses and Water Safety Instructor Courses throughout the year.

Swim Lessons

We offer swim lessons for all ages, from infants to adults, through the American Red Cross “Learn-To-Swim” program. This program includes seven levels, starting with water adjustment and advancing to competitive stroke perfection, with a strong emphasis on water safety.

Aqua Aerobics

Our water exercise program provides a total body workout for all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced. Aqua Aerobics provides a safe and refreshing way to exercise for all ages. 

Class Features

  • Exercises: Aerobic conditions, flexibility, and strength training
  • Instructors: Experienced and able to modify exercises to fit your needs.
  • Benefits: Ideal for those seeking an alternative workout, recovering from injury, or managing arthritis and weak joints.

Lifeguard Course

Would you like to be a certified lifeguard? Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Courses are offered throughout the year. You must attend each class in order to be certified.
