L. Gale Lemerand Fitness Center

The Daytona State College L. Gale Lemerand Health, Wellness and Community Education Center is one of the best, most comprehensive recreation and community education facilities in Florida. 

The 5,500 square-foot Fitness Center is completely equipped with, state-of-the-art weight training and aerobic equipment. The facility has a 19-piece Cybex resistance training circuit and 3.2 tons of free weights. There is a 31 piece aerobic arena featuring stair climbers, treadmills, elliptical trainers, spinning bikes, recumbent and stationary bikes, rowing machines, Airdynes and exercise equipment for the physically challenged. All staff members are AED, CPR and First Aid certified.

Appointments are no longer needed to use the Fitness Center. Facility occupancy is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.

Access Fees

Individual Access: This Includes only the individual that is eligible for access to the Lemerand Center.

Dual Access: This includes the eligible individual and one additional, dependent family member living at the same residence.

Family Access: This includes the listed individual and two or more (6 maximum) immediate, dependent family members living in the same residence (proof may be required.)
