ACUE AI Quick Study Series

Successful completion of the AI Quick Study Series involves a set of focused, self-paced online courses, equipping faculty members with strategies to effectively integrate artificial intelligence tools into their teaching. Those who have completed this series have gained practical insights validated by research to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes with emerging AI technologies.

ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction

Successful completion of this Association of College and University Educators (ACUE)Certification involves four self-paced online courses, wherein faculty members are equipped with evidence-based teaching practices validated independently through research, leading to an improvement in student achievement. Those who fulfill the program requirements receive a nationally recognized Certificate in Effective Teaching Practice Framework.

Successful completion of the Advanced Certification involves all seven courses in the ACUE Effective Teaching Practices Framework, providing faculty with a comprehensive mastery of research-based teaching practices to further enhance student success for both in-person and online class formats.

Digital Pro

Awarded to employees who complete 5 courses ranging from troubleshooting, Microsoft 365, PeopleSoft digital business tools and cybersecurity enhancing overall digital literacy.

Falcon Online Pro

Awarded to faculty members at Daytona State College who complete 9 hours of training, comprised of the Falcon Online Training course. This course assists in developing technical and instructional skills that are crucial to effectively use Falcon Online.

Faculty Fellow in Teaching & Learning

Awarded to faculty who are the designated Faculty Fellows in Teaching & Learning, which provide peer mentorship through applying and adopting the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) teaching and learning principles in the face-to-face and virtual classroom to better support students' academic success.

LEAD Academy

Awarded to employees at Daytona State College who graduated from the Leadership, Exploration, and Development Academy. The LEAD Academy fosters effective leadership through a program that emphasizes practical application of skills and knowledge and maximizes the participant’s ability to support the mission of Daytona State College.

Online Faculty
