Campus Highlights

The DeLand Campus offers a full-service library and Learning Resources Center, classroom space for college-credit courses that meet the general education requirements for the associate of arts degree, one associate of science degree and other associate of science courses, and various certificate programs.

The DeLand Campus has begun a new expansion that will be the new home for the Charles M. Curb School of Emergency Services. Construction has begun on the new all-weather Indoor Firearms Training Center for the Law Enforcement Academy (see the construction progress here). The new state-of-the-art Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services Training Center will also include a high-speed and defensive driving training track and an Active Scenario Training Structure.

The Bert Fish Building houses up-to-date facilities for dental hygiene, nursing, science labs and a multimedia learning center. As on all the campuses, comprehensive student and academic support services include Student Disability Services, the Falcon Hope Center, career advisement, individual tutoring and a computerized learning/tutoring center, as well as a foreign language lab.

Approximately 1,400 students attend classes at the DeLand Campus each year.
