Daytona State College provides educational resources and assistance to military spouses and dependents under the Veteran Affairs Educational Benefits Program. The DSC Veterans Services Office assists military spouses and dependents in their transition to student life, and helps them achieve their educational and career goals. Though military veterans and military dependents are under different VA Chapters of Education, DSC provides the same outstanding services (Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Tutoring, Work-Study) to veterans and dependents alike. Daytona State College is a premier institution for education and training, and our graduates are well-prepared for the future.

Military Spouse

“As a military spouse, married to a veteran with 22 years of serving his country with the Marines and Navy, I have been able to obtain a different outlook on life and the generous educational benefits that have enabled me to not only better myself but my family as well. While living in many countries like Cuba and Guam I have gained much respect for other cultures and enjoyed all the benefits of being a military dependent. One of the greatest opportunities was that I joined the Veterans Club at Daytona State College giving me a chance to network and create lifelong friendships. Every day I am grateful for the men and women who have served our country and I have the upmost respect for the dependents who are there for their family members supporting them along the way.” ~ Jennifer
