This flexible approach allows you to balance your education with personal and professional commitments, making it possible to complete the program in just 11 months.

Specialized training for a competitive edge
Enhance your expertise with our Facial Specialty Training Program, where you'll master advanced techniques such as facial massage, makeup artistry, hair removal, eyelash application, and much more. This specialized training also covers critical topics like infection control, Florida Cosmetology Law, and health safety practices, preparing you to excel in a rapidly evolving industry.

Get started
1. Apply to Daytona State College: Submit your application online at DaytonaState.edu or visit any admissions office. (Remember to enter the program code for the program major you are interested in.) 1084 Cosmetology, Vocational Credit Certificate (1200 Contact Hours)
2. Complete online orientation: Get introduced to our campus and resources to make the most of your college experience.
3. Take the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) for Career & Technical Education (CTE) Reading and Math skills and achieve specified minimum scores or meet exemption requirements to graduate from this program (See an Academic Advisor for exemption criteria).
