Who We Are

The School of Digital Media Production encompasses the Broadcast Television Production program, the Digital & Interactive Media Production program, the Music Production Technology program, and the Photographic Technology department. The progressive curriculums offer the highest level of technical proficiency needed to compete successfully in today’s job market.

In the Broadcast Television Production A.S. degree program, students gain hands-on experience in recorded electronic field productions, live-to-air television productions, directing, producing, and more. The 24-hour Broadcast Television Production and the 12-hour Television Studio Production Certificates prepare students for employment as television and video production personnel.

The Digital & Interactive Media Production program aims to equip students with the technical proficiency needed for entry-level positions as media, multimedia, and interactive media editors, and producers including sound and graphic design.

The Music Production Technology program provides an in-depth understanding of music creation, recording, and production. Students are prepared for careers in the music industry, including roles such as music producer, sound engineer, and studio technician. The program emphasizes hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology, collaboration with fellow musicians and producers, and a comprehensive understanding of the music business.

The Photography program covers digital photography, videography, commercial, editorial, advertising photography, as well as the medium’s history and aesthetics to prepare students as visual communicators. Students have an opportunity to continue their photography studies with a B.S. in Photography through our 2+2 partnership with the University of Central Florida.
