Cheryl Kohen

Dr. Cheryl Kohen has worked at Daytona State College (DSC) since 2010. In her role as Dean for the Department of Academic Innovation, she works very closely with faculty and administrators to oversee policy, professional development, and the integrity of distance learning programs. She has taught as online faculty for over a decade. Her areas of expertise include academic librarianship, information technology, and digital pedagogy. She is passionate about developing and evaluating online curricula that provides quality distance education for all learners. She holds a B.A. in English and Philosophy, a M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.
