Music Production Rocks! Mid-Term Concert

This performance comes as a mid-semester sneak peak of a semester long course in the contemporary performance aspects of modern rock, pop, blues and country music. The groups will perform a variety of selections that are representative of successful touring bands.

Students from Daytona State Improv Class and Club present a night of hilarious, unscripted
comedy based on audience suggestions!

The Daytona State College Flute Choir, directed by Paige Dashner Long, will present light classical and holiday music performed by an ensemble of multiple flutes, including concert flute, alto flute, bass flute and contrabass flute.

Our entire department comes together to bring you this annual extravaganza featuring the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir, along with dance and theater students in an evening of your favorite Holiday music and many other surprises! Due to popular demand, the free tickets will be available for pick-up at the News-Journal Center starting Wednesday, November 11, at 11:30am. Availability and quantity limits per person apply. A live simulcast will also be broadcast in the Gillespy Theater.

We invite you to watch our talented students as they perform works in modern dance, ballet and jazz style. The College Dance Theatre will perform their “works in progress” with the final presentation to be performed in the annual spring recital, Dancescapes.
