Calendar of events at Daytona State announced for July 2009
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (June 10, 2009) - Daytona State College presents the following calendar of events for July 2009.
Events are open to the public and free of charge, unless otherwise noted.
SOUTHEAST MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY
MUSEUM HOURS: June, July: Tues. - Sun.: 12 - 4 p.m.
CLOSED – Mondays and for the following dates: Dec 23 – January 2, Daytona 500, July 4, Thanksgiving Weekend, August 1 - August 13
MUSEUM LOCATION:
Unless noted otherwise, all museum exhibitions, events and films are presented at the Southeast Museum of Photography which is located on the Daytona Beach Campus of Daytona State College at 1200 International Speedway Blvd, three miles east of 1-95. The museum is located in the Mori Hosseini Center (Bldg. 1200). Visitor parking is available. Admission & Events are free. 2009 Summer Season
Departures IV - Daytona State College/UCF Graduating Student Exhibition
The 4th in the Southeast Museum of Photography’s continuing series of Departures exhibitions will feature new photographic art by emerging Florida photographers.
Images of Recovery - the therapeutic photography program at Stewart-Marchman Treatment Center in Daytona Beach has been led by Patrick Van Dusen for more than 12 years. This exhibition features key images and commentary, by substance abuse program participants, from the center. Patrick Van Dusen is faculty member at Daytona State College’s photography school. This exhibition is part of our annual faculty focus.
