Improving Outcomes in Research Use by Occupational Therapy Assistant Students, A Faculty-Librarian Collaboration

Information literacy is one of DSC's college-wide student outcomes. It is particularly vital for students in the health sciences to understand the use of evidence in practice. DSC's OTA program partnered with Library Services to create a targeted collaboration between OTA faculty and librarians, with the intended outcome of improving OTA students' understanding and use of evidence-based literature. Here, we report our results and discuss how they can be expanded to other academic programs. FREE ADMISSION, bring your own lunch!
