Mindful Eating: Healing Your Relationship with Food, Cultivating Healthy Weight and Preventing Disease through Awareness Practices and Acupuncture
Dr. Heather Eaton, English professor, health coach and nutrition specialist, will present this workshop where participants will learn how to enjoy food without feeling guilty, gaining weight or ruining one's health. The Evolution of Pseudonym: Challenging You to Collaborate
Faculty from the college's photography, music and English departments will present a special interactive session where participants will experience two video-poems and engage in a conversation about identity, voice and creativity with faculty members Eric Breitenbach (photography), Scott Velazco (music) and Dr. Michelle Lee (English). Attendees will discover how they can form their own creative collectives and partnerships that will result in informative and inspiring work. Students are encouraged to attend the workshops, which are free and open to the public.
