Please join us for the yearly gallery exhibition of the DSC art faculty of the Mike Curb College of Music, Entertainment and Arts, studio artists. As accomplished, and working artists, we give you a unique glimpse into the works of Trent Berning, Stacey Fletcher Reynolds, Zach Mellman-Carsey, Sean Erwin, and Andres Montenegro. 2nd Annual Student Exhibition at the Gary R. Libby Gallery
During the fall semester, two Daytona State College photographic technology students, Kassandra Ramirez and Rachel Waesche, challenged fellow students to submit black and white images that incorporates some sort of reflection. The exhibition is on display in the Gary R. Libby Gallery at DSC's News-Journal Center through the spring of 2020. The News-Journal Center is open during regular semester hours and by appointment, closed during major holidays and college closures.

Public Safety: A Community Conversation

"To serve and protect" is a phrase well-known regarding law enforcement, and in this moderated discussion, you'll hear from some of the best public safety professionals in Central Florida.
Did you know that Florida's Total Crime Index has consistently decreased almost every year since 1998, including violent crime? And in this region, Daytona State is the leading provider of public safety training, producing more than 200 Corrections and Law Enforcement Officers, 60 Firefighters, 240 Emergency Medical Technicians, 72 Paramedics, and serves 1,500 active
law enforcement with continuing education and training. The evening will conclude with an audience Q&A with
the panelists.
