Pirandello's One-Act Plays, translated by William Murray
Join us for an evening of one-acts by the Italian master, Luigi Pirandello.  One of the greatest and most influential playwrights of Modern Drama, Pirandello won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1934 for his “bold and brilliant renovation of the drama and the stage.” Wily peasants, feisty pessimists, frustrated rural sophists, and the entire masquerade of a sadly comic humanity-without-props make up this delightful and valuable collection of plays.
