Calendar of events at Daytona State announced for December 2012

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 9, 2012) - Daytona State College presents the following calendar of events for December 2012.

WISE: Astronomical Wonders of the Winter Skies
Wisdom In Senior Education (W.I.S.E.) is a program offered by the Daytona State College Foundation to promote and share the academic college resources with our senior community, providing learning opportunities in an enjoyable format. A special WISE showing of the Christmas-time heavens will be presented at the Museum of Arts and Sciences by Seth Mayo, planetarium coordinator. (Seating is limited to 80 people. Planetarium Cost: $3).
Upon the onclusion of this presentation, we will relocate to Daytona State’s Café 101, where Chef Costa Magoulas will present “Holiday Cooking for the WISE,” featuring holiday cooking plans made easy. Free to WISE members.
