Certified Production Technician Training Program
In cooperation with the Florida TRADE Program, this 80 contact hour course focuses on the core skills and knowledge needed by production workers. The course also prepares participants to take the four Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification examinations. Each participant receives a printed and bound workbook for each unit. Fee: $975 (includes all workbooks and certification exams.) FREE Online OSHA 30 Hour General Industry enrollment with each paid CPT registration - a $179 value!

Excel 2010, Basic
Presented by the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, this course teaches the basic functions and features of Excel 2010. After an introduction to spreadsheet terminology and Excel's window components, students will learn how to use the Help system and navigate worksheets and workbooks. Then they will enter and edit text, values, formulas, and pictures, and they will save workbooks in various formats. Students will also move and copy data, learn about absolute and relative references, and work with ranges, rows, and columns. This course also covers simple functions, basic formatting techniques, and printing. Finally, students will create and modify charts, and learn how to manage large workbooks. The course fee is $85 and includes a student workbook with a CD-ROM containing the lab files used in class. The deadline to register for each course is one week prior to the course date.

Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE) Review Course: Professional Education Exam Review
Daytona State College is offering exam review courses for the FTCE in Professional Education, Elementary Education K-6 Subject Area,
and Exceptional Student Education K-12 Subject Area. Fee: $100 (includes FTCE Student Workbook), $50 (includes FTCE Student Workbook) for currently-enrolled Daytona State College students.
