DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 19, 2016) - Daytona State College presents the following calendar of events for September 2016.

Events are open to the public and free of charge, unless otherwise noted.

Sept. 14, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Office 365 Tips & Tricks 
Office 365 provides anywhere access to familiar Office tools like Excel, Word and more. It's the same Office you already know and see every day, but because Office 365 is powered by the cloud, you can get to your applications and files from virtually anywhere—PC, Mac, and tablets— and they're always up to date. Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, in this course you will learn how to use the Office 365 Navigation Bar; how desktop applications and online applications work together; manage your mail, contacts and calendar in Office 365. This is a 'hands-on' course and each participant will have their own computer. Students are encouraged to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) to the Office 365 courses. Should you choose to BYOD, please arrive 30 minutes early for a tech-check. Cost: $95, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

Skype for Business Tips & Tricks
Office 365 provides anywhere access to familiar Office tools like Excel, Word and more. It's the same Office you already know and see every day, but because Office 365 is powered by the cloud, you can get to your applications and files from virtually anywhere—PC, Mac, and tablets— and they're always up to date. Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, in this course you will learn the new Skype for Business Interface; build your Contacts Group; create a Favorites Group and build Custom Groups; start an instant message; make a video call; start a conversation from other Office applications like Outlook, Excel and more; start an unscheduled meeting; schedule and start a meeting from your Outlook calendar; record a meeting; share your desktop and applications; take a poll and more. This is a 'hands-on' course and each participant will have their own computer. Students are encouraged to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) to the Office 365 courses. Should you choose to BYOD, please arrive 30 minutes early for a tech-check. Cost: $95, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

OneNote, Online Version, Tips & Tricks
Office 365 provides anywhere access to familiar Office tools like Excel, Word and more. It's the same Office you already know and see every day, but because Office 365 is powered by the cloud, you can get to your applications and files from virtually anywhere—PC, Mac, and tablets— and they're always up to date. Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, in this course you will learn how to navigate the OneNote interface, create a notebook, add sections and pages, collect and organize notes, add an audio recording, use the annotation tool, send content from the web to OneNote, share and email notes, share meeting notes, add meeting details, and add action items. This is a 'hands-on' course and each participant will have their own computer. Students are encouraged to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) to the Office 365 courses. Should you choose to BYOD, please arrive 30 minutes early for a tech-check. Cost: $95, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

This is a 'hands-on' course and each participant will have their own computer. Students are encouraged to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) to the Office 365 courses.
