MARGARET BENKO, RN
Maggie Benko is a graduate of Daytona State College herself and has 27 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Volusia and Flagler area. Her nursing career has covered many areas of specialty, including acute care, hospice, home health, acute inpatient rehab, case management, discharge planning, Physician Liaison, Quality Improvement Coordinator, and Physician Peer Review. Her wide variety of experience makes her an adept advisement guide for candidates in the Nurse Refresher Program, with input from the advisory committee.
Dianna McGee is the administrative assistant responsible for keeping the department organized and on schedule, a responsibility she tackles with ease and a smile. She has over 18 years of experience in administrative and logistical work, and spent many of her early career years working as a medical and surgical assistant in Illinois.
