Fresh Start Program
The Fresh Start Program assists both women and men who desire to make a successful transition into career and technical training programs at Daytona State College.
During this 4-week program students will complete a Personal Development Plan, which provides a road map to explore career options, examine educational opportunities and establish career goals. Students will also learn interview and job-readiness skills and how to create a resume for successful entrance into the workforce.
Participants must have a high school diploma/GED® OR be willing to pursue a GED® at the Daytona State College School of Adult Education.
This is a FREE four-week daytime program. Classes are Monday through Friday 9am-12pm.

- Complete a scholarship essay
- Improve interview skills

- Learn how to dress for success
