Our Quanta-Honors College offers students with proven academic ability an assortment of challenging courses and the opportunity to participate in a formal research program to satisfy their intellectual curiosity and quest for knowledge.

The college now offers seven Bachelor of Science in Education degrees: Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education, Secondary Mathematics Education, Secondary Biology Education, Secondary Chemistry Education, Secondary Physics Education and Secondary Earth/Space Science Education.
The mission of the College of Arts and Sciences is to provide quality, engaging, and effective associate- and bachelor-level educational programs, while supporting academic excellence and innovation in teaching, that (1) lead to successful communication and critical thinking skills; (2) lead to associate degree or baccalaureate degree completion; (3) prepare students with diverse needs and backgrounds for continued education or employment; (4) are enhanced by collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders and address industry workforce needs; (5) effectively use institutional resources.
