President’s Message

When you hear the name Daytona State College, I hope it will strike a chord and remind you of how important growth and progress is in everything we do as a community and as individuals.  Indeed, dropping "Community" from our moniker reflects an expansion of our institutional focus to meet the higher education demands of the residents we serve in Volusia and Flagler counties.

Daytona State begins this new academic year as a four-year degree granting institution dedicated to  being the destination of choice for higher education in our region, expanding our program and degree offerings, and providing access, more choices and opportunity to all who desire to improve their lives through higher education.

The college remains committed to each and every one of our students. Whether you are working toward a college degree, developing a marketable skill, or taking a class for pure personal enrichment, Daytona State's faculty and staff are ready to help you succeed.
