Nathan Bond, a sophomore outfielder for the Falcons, signed with Bethune Cookman this past November. He joins ten other 2014 recruits who signed with the Wildcats during the early signing period.
Bond, is from Orlando, Florida and played at Edgewater High School before joining the Falcon baseball program at Daytona State College in 2012-2013.
Bond is a switch hitter for the Falcons, and has provided a steady stream of offense for the Falcons. In 2013, he hit .319 as a freshmen. Additionally he collected 11 extra base hits and 29 RBIs. Bond shows the ability to play first base, as well as, his traditional outfield position.
Bond will join the Wildcats who were 34-25 overall and 17-7 in MEAC play in 2013.
