Daytona State College offers classes to prepare you to take the General Educational Development (GED) test. Passing the four-part GED® exam (reasoning through language arts, mathematical reasoning, social studies, and science) will provide you with a State of Florida High School Diploma which allows you to get a better job and go to college.
The GED® Program is designed for students who are 16 years of age or older. Classes are offered both day and night on 5 campuses and at a variety of community locations. Online classes are available for qualified students. All classes begin weekly, and students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and GED® test fees.
