Topics include: Functions and graphs, mathematical models, limits, continuity, slope of a curve, derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions, techniques of differentiation, applications of derivatives, differentials, optimization, plane areas, anti-derivatives, definite integrals, and Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. A graphing calculator is required. (Prerequisite: Placement through appropriate college placement test or passed MAC 1140 and MAC 1114 with grade "C" or better or permission of chairperson).
