Department Introduction

The Behavioral & Social Sciences Department provides students with opportunities to advance their intellectual development by helping them gain an understanding of human behavior, societies, historical evolution and political systems. This is accomplished through course offerings in psychology, sociology, philosophy, political science, geography, anthropology and religion. The educational experience for students is augmented by various student clubs, special topics courses, and a variety of specialized student advising tracks in psychology.
