Daytona State College's News-Journal Center, is actively seeking volunteer ushers for our 23-24 season. Ushering is a great way to be involved with the arts while actively supporting all the amazing events that happen at Daytona State College's News-Journal Center.

Cultuvue Photography Exhibit

Come experience this traveling exhibit that celebrates local Black culture though a blend of photos, interactive displays and education. These exhibitions aim to challenge negative stereotypes of Blacks in America, offering positive images and stories to encourage understanding and promote visual literacy among different communities - all for free.

Symphony of Keys: A Piano Recital with Dr. Sun-A Park and Ammon Perry Bratt
Friday, November 1, 7 p.m. – FREE Concert
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness the synergy and artistry of two virtuosos on one stage as they showcase a diverse repertoire from classic masterpieces to contemporary gems. Hosted by Dr. Alessandro Fonseca.
Dr. Sun A-Park will also be hosting a free master class at 10am at the News-Journal Center. All are invited to this unique chance to learn and listen from this piano master.
