Daytona State College Counseling and Accessibility Services provides a variety of services in order to enhance students' educational experience and assist students to define and accomplish personal, career, and academic goals and overcome behavioral difficulties.

The College is committed to providing equality of services for qualified students with physical, psychological, and learning disabilities, in compliance with the American with Disability Act of 1990 (ADA) Section 504 as it relates to higher education.

There is a Counseling and Accessibility Services office located on every campus. Students are responsible for contacting the accessibility office to register, and must provide proper documentation in a timely manner. Upon receipt of a request for services and receiving the appropriate documentation, an accessibility counselor works with the student to provide and arrange the most suitable and reasonable accommodations.

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) works with the Veteran to determine if an employment handicap exists. An employment handicap exists if a Veteran's service-connected disability impairs his/her ability to prepare for, obtain, and maintain suitable career employment.
