Daytona State College Holding Job Fair on Flagler/Palm Coast Campus, March 27

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. (February 28, 2020) – More than 20 local businesses will be in attendance on Friday, March 27 when Daytona State College hosts the Flagler Job Fair on its Flagler/Palm Coast Campus (3000 Palm Coast Parkway Southeast). Admission is free and open to all members of the community. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center, Building 3.

Among those scheduled to attend are AdventHealth, U.S. Foods, SMA Healthcare, the Daytona Beach Police Department, Gary Yeomans Honda, Carlisle IT, the City of Palm Coast, the United States Navy Reserve and the Volusia Sheriff’s Office-911 Community Center. Participating companies are subject to change.

“Job fairs offer an opportunity to network directly with company representatives and going beyond just submitting applications online,” said LaTonya Polk, Manager of Daytona State’s Career Services Department.

Current DSC students and alumni are welcome to visit the College’s Career Services prior to the job fair for assistance with resumé and cover letter writing, interview preparation and other free services. The Career Services Department is located in the L. Gale Lemerand Student Center, Room 224, on the Daytona Beach Campus.

Those attending the job fair should dress professionally, bring copies of their resumé, and be prepared to speak directly to hiring managers and recruiters.
