Alexandra Hollabaugh Commits with Daytona State

Alexandra Hollabaugh Commits to the Falcons

The Lady Falcons are proud to announce the recent commitment of Alexandra Hollabaugh to their program. Hollabaugh is currently a senior at Rockledge High School.

Hollabaugh enjoyed a very successful high school playing career for the Raiders. As a 5'8" setter, she directed the offense for Rockledge during her tenure, which included two seasons on the varsity team. Her hard work and commitment earned her a position on the 2013 Space Coast Senior All-Star Team.

Additionally, Hollabaugh's commitment to the game has earned her recognition on the All-Space Coast Conference Team.

Hollabaugh has played club volleyball for Cape Coast Volleyball Club for the past five years. She enjoys both the indoor game, as well as, beach volleyball.

Hollabaugh is not just a star on the volleyball court, but in the classroom as well. She is an academic standout that is committed to attaining a four year degree in biology, which will lead to her future career ambition as a dentist.

What sold Coach Stegall on Hollabaugh is her commitment to excellence in the classroom, in life, and on the volleyball court. Hollabaugh said it herself, "I am very driven and self-motivated and willing to do whatever it takes to have a successful season or team." Coach Stegall is hopeful that Hollabaugh and her Falcon teammates will find that "success" in the upcoming 2014 season.
