About 300 Students, friends, and families came out for the first annual Mr. and Ms. Daytona State College Competition at News Journal Center on October 2nd. Our talented students provided the entertainment which included; poetry, violin, dance, improv, and singing.
Jerred Mason, who is studying business and economics, ran away with the most votes for his performance of "This is how I am" and was crowned as Mr. Daytona State 2009. Michelle Underwood won Ms. Daytona State 2009 with her fantastic Survivor Improv Theatre Style.
Everyone had a great time and a special thanks from the SGA to all students who helped make this event such a success.
