The Fire Science department office has moved to the Advanced Technology College (ATC).

The Daytona State College Fire Science department provides great training opportunities for the new and for the experienced firefighter.  The programs prepare students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to safely and dependably perform fire/rescue duties during emergency and non-emergency response situations.

From basic firefighting training to degree programs for advancement in the field, the School of Emergency Services Fire Science programs have what you need. You can get minimum standards training, specialized training, and your Associate's degree right here at Daytona State College.

Once you have your Fire Science Technology A.S. degree, why not go on to a bachelor's degree? Well, here at Daytona State College, you can advance to our Bachelor of Applied Science degree and get your undergraduate degree without leaving town! Ask us how we can help you achieve your career goals!
