QEP Pre-Planning

During spring and summer 2011, the college community at large will understand the general philosophy of and the methodology behind the Quality Enhangement Plan as it regards the overall SACSCOC reaffirmation process and developing a QEP topic.

Gather Input and Evidence

Aug. 2011 - Dec. 2011

During this phase, the college's QEP Leadership Team will focus on collecting data and evidence through data analysis, focus groups, workshops and a variety of other topic selection activities.

Select Topic

Jan. 2012 - Jul. 2012

A field of 20 to 30 proposed QEP topics developed from prior activities will be narrowed down to five, then ultimately down to one.

Develop QEP Action Plan Timeline and Budget

Aug. 2012 - Apr. 2013

The QEP Leadership Team will begin developing the QEP document, and its primary message will be incorporated into the college culture.

Finalize QEP Document

Apr. 2013 - Jun. 2013

Final preparation of document for submittal to SACSCOC visiting team.

Submit QEP

Jul. 2013

SACSCOC Site Visit and QEP Approval

Sep./Oct. 2013

QEP will be either approved or returned with recommendations for revision during the SACSCOC visiting team's site visit.
