DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 11, 2015) - Daytona State College presents the following calendar of events for April 2015.

Events are open to the public and free of charge, unless otherwise noted.

Aquatic Center  

April 1–29, 11:15. a.m. – noon (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays)
Aqua Aerobics “Stretch & Twist”
This water exercise program provides a total body workout for those of moderate to advanced fitness levels. Classes include exercises for aerobic conditioning, flexibility, and strength training. Aqua Aerobics offers a safe and refreshing way to exercise for all ages. Cost $5 per class; 10 classes, pre-paid $35.

Core Strengthening Workshop
Hosted by Daytona State Fitness, participate in this workshop to learn the core exercise myths, what exercises not to do, and how to safely progress. All levels of core exercises will be presented and suitable for conditions such as osteoporosis, herniated disc as well as back and neck pain. Presented by Sarah Thomas, PT of Thomas Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy.
