Introduction to the Computer & Windows 10
If you have a passion for learning, the lifestyle programming offered by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College opens the gateway to infinite opportunities and experiences. Our innovative and accessible programs are designed to support the individual interests of the participants. We target a mature audience, in pursuit of exploring and learning for the joy of it, and interested in keeping in touch with the world! This course covers computer basics and new features of the Windows 10 Operating System. You will learn how to log in, basic mouse commands, keyboard shortcuts, how to create, organize and find documents. You will learn how to customize the Windows 1 O Start menu and Task Bar, use the Edge web browser, add a printer, change screen settings, and use common applications like the Calculator, Sticky Notes and Snipping Tool. Cost: $55.

Excel 2016, Intermediate
Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College. this course builds upon the foundational knowledge presented in the Basic course. You will work with functions and lists, and analyze and visualize data with PivotTables and PivotCharts. You will learn how to perform calculations, modify a worksheet, format a worksheet, print and manage workbooks. Cost: $145, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

Office 365, Tips & Tricks
Office 365 provides anywhere access to familiar Office tools like Excel, Word and more. It's the same Office you already know and see every day, but because Office 365 is powered by the cloud, you can get to your applications and files from virtually anywhere—PC, Mac, and tablets— and they're always up to date. Presented by the Center for Business & Industry at Daytona State College, in this course you will learn how to use the Office 365 Navigation Bar; how desktop applications and online applications work together; manage your mail, contacts and calendar in Office 365. This is a 'hands-on' course and each participant will have their own computer. Students are encouraged to Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) to the Office 365 courses. Should you choose to BYOD, please arrive 30 minutes early for a tech-check. Cost: $145, deadline to register for is one week prior to the course date.

Education to Go
A genuine Education To Go course is more than just a collection of project-oriented lessons, stimulating quizzes, and hands-on assignments. Offered via the Center for Business and Industry at Daytona State College, all of the courses include expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors, famous for their ability to create warm and supportive communities of learners. Unless otherwise specified, all courses run for six weeks. Courses are offered for as little as $95.

We target a mature audience, in pursuit of exploring and learning for the joy of it, and interested in keeping in touch with the world! Learn how to send email messages, including file and photo attachments, receive and respond to emails with reply/reply all and forward, identify phishing tactics, and how to organize and search for emails.
