Events are open to the public and free of charge, unless otherwise noted.

Masterworks from the UCF Flying Horse Press
Curated by Theo Lotz, director of the Press, this special exhibition showcases a selection of some of the exceptional works on paper created by invited contemporary artists at one of America's preeminent art presses. Over 20 years old, Flying Horse Editions is located in UCF's Center for Emerging Media in downtown Orlando. Internationally renowned artists work with professional fine art printers to push the boundaries of their work while offering unique opportunities for UCF students to participate in this creative process. This exhibit will be closed during college-observed holidays, Nov. 26-29 and Dec. 19, 2015-Jan. 3, 2016. This exhibition is sponsored in part by the Gary R. Libby Charitable Trust.

Daytona State College Flute Choir
Directed by Paige Dashner Long, the Daytona State College Flute Choir will present light classical and holiday music performed by an ensemble of multiple flutes, including concert flute, alto flute, bass flute and contrabass flute.

Our Musical Gift to the Community
Our entire department comes together to bring you this annual extravaganza featuring the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir, along with dance and theater students, in an evening of your favorite holiday music and many other surprises! Yuletide Feast
Join the lords and ladies of the Royal Court for an evening of feasting, singing and merriment as Daytona State college celebrates the holiday season. The singing, dancing and dialogue are accompanied by the Halifax Consort's Early Music Ensemble and the Daytona State College Brass Ensemble while patrons dine on a scrumptious feast. Always a sellout! Tickets go on sale for this event at the DSC News-Journal Center on Wednesday, September 16, at 11:30am. Tickets are $40 per person.

Music Production Rocks!
This performance comes as the culmination of a semester-long course in the contemporary performance aspects of modern rock, pop, blues and country music. The groups will perform a variety of selections that are representative of successful touring bands.

The performing arts programs at Daytona State prepare students for futures in music, drama and dance, while also providing entertainment opportunities for the community through a variety of events produced each semester. Proceeds from tickets are used to support the Performing Arts Scholarship program at Daytona State.
