Adjunct Faculty Employment


We are pleased that you are considering part-time employment at Daytona State College. Our course offerings range from adult basic education, associates degrees, college transfer credits, and bachelor of science degree. Daytona State serves both Volusia & Flagler counties through its campuses at Daytona Beach, DeLand, Deltona, New Smyrna Beach and Palm Coast.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Complete application files will be accepted on a continuous basis and remain active for one year. {Applications must be updated annually}

Note: All Adjunct positions are part-time, temporary assignments (for no more than one semester at a time) dependent upon student enrollment and the instructional needs of the College.

For consideration, applicants must submit an online application. A completed online application consists of: an electronic job application, current vita/resume, and unofficial transcripts. If applicable, copies of appropriate occupational licenses and/or certificates.

Submissions that do not include all required information will not be considered.

Foreign transcripts must include an official transcript evaluation which interprets equivalency to U.S. graduate credits.

Any candidate hired must supply official transcripts within 30 days of employment. Official Transcripts must be sent directly from your colleges and universities to Human Resources:

When you apply online, your application will be reviewed by the appropriate department chairperson(s) and academic dean(s) in the area(s) in which you applied. As adjunct openings arise, you will be contacted directly by the department chairperson.

In order to determine if you are eligible to teach in the area(s) specified, the department chairperson(s) and academic dean(s),  you must attached copies of transcripts, occupational licenses, and/or certificates to your online application.
