HONORS COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Admission to the Honors College is competitive and based on a variety of criteria. Students are granted admission by the Honors College Admissions Committee which is comprised of Honors College faculty and administrators. Minimum student requirements include the following:
Cumulative GPA no less than 3.25
Two supporting Letters of Recommendation from faculty members familiar with the applicant’s academic potential
Completion of Student Statement of Expectations, and Reason for Making Application
Demonstration of College Level Writing (TBD by the Honors College)
Note: Other criteria may be used in addition to the above to determine admission to the Honors College.
Students may apply for admission to the Honors College if they meet the following criteria:
Minimum ACT Scores:
Reading 25 Writing 23 Math 20
Minimum CPT Scores:
Reading 100
Writing 95
College Math 75
Minimum SAT Scores:
Verbal 600
Math 500
