UPCOMING EVENTS
Be part of the worlds largest beach clean up. On Sept 15th people in Countries all over the world will come out in force and clean up our beaches. Marine debris that collects in the ocean can sicken, injure, or kill countless marine mammals, sea turtles and birds that ingest or are entangled in trash. It can also pose immediate risks to human health when items that leach toxic materials or medical waste enters the environment. And it impacts coastal economies that rely on a healthy and vibrant ocean. But, solving the problem — and reducing and preventing trash from entering our waterways — is one of the easiest ways we can help protect the ocean.
