Lending Library for Textbooks
The lending library contains a variety of general education textbooks. To be eligible to borrow a book the student must be currently enrolled at Daytona State College in an Associate of Science or Occupational Certificate program, have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and have classes/fees paid in full. Students receiving a PELL GRANT must use their BOOK VOUCHER first before they can be eligible to borrow books. Your bookstore receipt is required to verify that full amount of voucher has been used for the purchase of textbooks.
Books are loaned on a first come basis and loans begin one week prior to the first day of semester. All books are due back to the Center for Women and Men on the final day of class. Only one book per student will be permitted during the first week of the loan program to allow us to assist as many students as possible. Students can check back during the first week of classes and borrow an additional textbook if it is available. To borrow a book, students should bring the following required documents:
- unofficial transcript
- class schedule/fee statement
- bookstore receipt (showing book voucher purchases)
