The 2013 WAC/WID Professional Development Program was a resounding success!
A total of nineteen faculty members—selected from seven different disciplines across campus—attended an orientation session, read and discussed John Bean’s book, Engaging Ideas, and participated in the WAC/WID Summer Workshop Series from May 13, 2013 through May 17, 2013 from 9:00am to 12:00pm in order to redesign a course in their discipline within a framework of best practices in writing studies theory and pedagogy.
