The mission of Daytona State College is as a comprehensive public college, to "provide access to a range of flexible programs from community enrichment to the baccalaureate degree, emphasizing student access, embracing excellence, and diversity, as well as fostering innovation to enhance teaching and learning." Part of our step forward towards technology is the creation of a Computerized Multimedia Commons Area located in the Daytona State College Library.

A manual has been prepared by the Daytona State College Computing Commons Staff to assist our students and other members of our community by describing all the Information Service Support provided by the college’s latest computerized, technological, and educational resources. Daytona State College's policies and procedures will assist and promote the usage of our technological resources in an effort to move towards excellence in all educational endeavors.
