Athletics Facilities

Daytona State boasts some of the best facilities available at a state college.

The L. Gale Lemerand Health, Wellness and Community Education Center houses a 1,000-seat gymnasium, fitness center, aquatic center and related classrooms and academic programs.

Our playing fields and courts also stand among the best in the Florida college system. The 1,000-seat gymnasium provides a quality environment for excited fans!

The baseball complex, one of only two lighted fields in the Mid-Florida Conference, has a permanent press box, a concession stand and a section of chair-back seating. The softball complex, also lighted, includes palm trees lining the outfield fence, giving the field that true Florida atmosphere.

Both baseball and softball fields are laser leveled each year to provide the best surface and drainage capability for spring season, and both fields are maintained daily by the college Facilities Services Division.

Daytona State's health, wellness, fitness, recreation and athletics facilities are among the nation's best. The state-of-the-art facilities are one of the many reasons our athletic programs are a force to be reckoned with.
