Need foreign language credit on your transcript for your degree?
To receive credit on your transcript for a foreign language we offer CLEP exams in French, German and Spanish or you may also take a correspondence exam through Brigham Young University for Arabic, Mandarin(Chinese) or Russian credit. To register for Arabic, Mandarin or Russian, you must go to the Brigham Young University website.
Any other foreign language exam from Brigham Young University may be taken to satisfy the foreign language requirement for AA degrees at Daytona State (proficiency only-no credit awarded). You will be required to supply proctor information and pay the BYU fee for the exam on-line.
Daytona State uses the APLE Exam process for proctoring ($35 fee) and acceptance of this exam for Daytona State College credit.
