Course Title: Introduction to Marine Biology

Course Description:
An introduction to the chemical, physical, and biological components of the marine environment. Emphasis is on the study of marine organisms and their ecological roles. Specific topics include Florida coastal and intracoastal systems and issues. Several one-day field trips are scheduled in addition to the weekly laboratory sessions. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. FA, SP
