Course Title: Music Theory I Lab

Course Description:
Elements of music through reading, writing, singing and playing. All primary and secondary triads, their conversions and the dominant seventh chord. Sight singing, ear training, keyboard harmony, harmonic and structural analysis and elementary dictation. Three-hour class, two-hour laboratory. (Prerequisite: Appropriate placement scores or successful completion of college prep courses.) This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
