Elementary School Mathematics
This course contains mathematical material appropriate for students studying to be elementary school teachers. Topics include: Operations on real numbers, problem solving techniques, prime factorizations, numerical systems, simplifying numeric expressions, sets and Venn diagrams, converting base systems, solving geometric problems, identification and classification of two and three dimensional figures, and finding area and perimeter of these figures. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (AA) degree. This course is offered during the FA, SP and SU terms.
