Topics include: Functions and graphs, mathematical models, limits, continuity, slope of a curve, derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions, techniques of differentiation, applications of derivatives, differentials, optimization, plane areas, antiderivatives, definite integrals, and Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. A graphing calculator is required. This course will help satisfy the graduation requirements of the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree. FA, SP, SU.
